Typical Tuesday

Well hey there!

It's just another typical Tuesday over here in Arizona... except for the fact that the weather is abnormally hot here where I am. And by abnormally hot I mean that it's 65 degrees and I'm sweating to death... which is strange because 65 isn't even that hot... but considering a week and a half ago our spring break ended with a snow day.... it's quite odd.

"Nobody cares about the weather..."

Moving on!

Alright so lemme tell you all about my weekend with Connor's family! Wooooo!

First off.
His adopted brother, Max, had to come home from his mission (he's been out about 3.5 months) for his biological mom's funeral. And Max is my best friend and also Connor's best friend, and the person who basically set up up. SOOO seeing as though I spent Sunday night and Monday night over at Connor's house with his family, I GOT TO SEE MAX! Yay!

"Show us a picture!"

Basically I look absolutely haggard... and he's wearing my glasses. But there he is!

So anyways I was really there to spend the night with his sister but hey, Max happened to be there so! Technically he's still a missionary so we couldn't hug or anything but just seeing him was awesome. It was all kind of surreal because he's been gone since right before Christmas. If THIS feels weird, I can't imagine how I'm going to feel when Connor gets back! I'm getting anxious just THINKING about it.

Okay so back to the story of my weekend!

Well, on Monday we all decided (We being Connor's family, including his brother and sister-in-law who were visiting from BYU) that we would take a trip down to Out of Africa which is basically this awesome zoo/park thing with safari animals and all that good stuff. So that's how we spent yesterday (I left school early woo!) and it was AWESOME.

Wanna see another picture!?
"Okay!"

Okay so you can see Max creeping in the back! But then from the left there is: Bethany (Connor's older brother's girlfriend who is waiting for him on his mission while he's gone but he gets home in 22 days!), yours truly, Megan (Connor's younger sister), and Chandra (Connor's sister-in-law). So basically it's all of us sisters :) And a cute little tiger.

So that was my adventurous weekend full of scattergories and other cool mormon-ish things. I love my little second family :) I can't wait to be a real part of it!

And now I'm sitting here blogging instead of writing my paper for English 102!

My teacher: "Write a 5 page essay on Gothic Literature, due tomorrow morning!"
Me:

Annnnnnd yeah! I should probably get going on that and stop procrastinating... but we all know I'll probably just go on Facebook for the next few hours and then all of a sudden wonder why my paper didn't magically write itself! Alrighty!

Until next time, adios!
